Lim Yoon Taek, INFINITE, Psy, and more awarded at the ’2013 Korea Assembly Grand Awards’

INFINITE, Psy, the late Lim Yoon Taek and others were awarded at the ‘2013 Korea Assembly Grand Awards‘.

The award show was held on the 7th at the Seoul Yeouido National Assembly Office, and 11 awards were given out to celebrities who had outstanding contributions in spreading Korean Popular Culture.

INFINITE received the ‘Popular Music of the Year‘ award. Upon receiving the award, Hoya said, “We’re so grateful that we got such a big award. We’ll work hard to spread K-pop all over the world. We’re going to work to become Korea’s best group. We’re going to treasure this moment forever.” The boys then performed the main point of the “Be Mine” choreography to the delight of many fans present.

The ‘Special Award of the Year’ went to the late Lim Yoon Taek. Ulala Session came out to accept the award on his behalf. Member Park Kwang Sun said, “People say that a person only truly dies not when they’re no longer with us, but when they’re forgotten. We’re going to become a 5-member Ulala Session that works even harder and keep his memory alive.”

Psy was not present to receive his ‘Hallyu Star of the Year‘ award.

Popular Music of the Year: INFINITE

Comedian of the Year: Yoon Tae Ho

Musical of the Year: ‘The Goddess is Watching’, ‘Fly, Mr. Park’

Special Award of the Year: Lim Yoon Taek

Achievement Award of the Year: Choi Soo Jong

Hallyu Star of the Year: Psy
